FINALLY a newsletter that doesn't seem haphazardly created, and with summaries that are really a joy to read. For a lot of topics, the summary is all I need.

About

41 issues in, every link is still read and picked by hand. The format is simple: five minutes of summaries keeps you current on the week in smart home. When a topic grabs you, the full article is one click away, with the reading time listed next to it.

I'm Daniel, based in the Netherlands. I've been into home automation since the early days of Home Assistant, and I maintain two of its custom integrations: Multiscrape (1,700+ active installs) and MeasureIt.

Picking the week's links means reading far more than ends up in an issue. Everything published about smart home products, platforms and protocols gets collected and structured first, and the issue is what I pick out of it. That database is much bigger than the newsletter, and companies can query it directly through Smart Home Intelligence, which is built from public sources and never from subscriber data.
