They are not instructions written or reviewed by a licensed professional for your specific home, devices, or local circumstances.

Nothing on this site is electrical, engineering, legal, or other professional advice. Automation ideas may reference hardware such as smart outlets, in-wall switches, or appliances that draw significant power (for example, washers and dryers). Home Assistant YAML snippets and blueprints we publish are the exception: they're meant to be copied into your own automations.
